Patricia Irene Albano - January 10, 2010

     RAVENA Patricia Irene Albano, 89, of Ravena peacefully entered into eternal life on January 10, 2010 at her residence, to join her beloved husband, Carmen.

     Patricia was born on May 25, 1920 in Marlboro, NY, to John the Irene Palmer. She graduated from Albany High School in 1937 and Comptometer School in 1938. She became a comptometer operator at Montgomery Ward working there until 1946. She was married on May 21, 1944 to Carmen and devoted her life to her career as a wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was an accomplished cook and avid baker. Always a person who loved to see new places, she and her husband enjoyed many wonderful trips during their retirement years. Patricia was the kindest person one could ever meet, who always maintained a positive spirit, and never uttered a word of complaint. She was a woman of quiet dignity.

         Patricia is survived by her children; Dr. Brian J. Albano, Barrington, RI, Diane Patricia Albano, Ravena, and Craig J. (Norma) Albano, Hannacroix. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Matthew (Amy) Albano, Kara Albano, Mallory (Paul) Jarrold, Justin Albano, two great-granddaughters and a great-grandson.

          Patricia was predeceased by her parents, her beloved husband of 55 years, Carmen R. Albano, and her sisters Marcia Palmer, Phyllis Palmer, and Jacquelyn Walter.

           A special thank you is extended to Dr. Patrick Caulfield for his thoughtful care of Patricia.

           All services will be private at the convenience of the family.
