Reno R. Giacomini, Jr.- November 14, 2008

Reno R. Giacomini, Jr., of Glenmont, passed away on November 14, 2008 at the Hospice Inn of St. Peterís Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

     Reno was born on November 19, 1951 in Albany, NY.  He was the son of Theresa Fori Giacomini of Ravena and the late Reno R. Giacomini, Sr.  He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Susan;  brother David (Dusti) of Amherst; sister, Linda (Jim) Wood of Niskayuna; sister-in-law, Sharon (Tom) Giacomini OíNeil of MA; and nieces Tracy Oteri, Lori Giacomini and Carrie White also of MA.  He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Pauline Mullen and brother-in-law, James Mullen of Ravena and several aunts, uncles and cousins.  Reno was predeceased by his older brother, James and loving pet Charlie.

     Reno was a graduate of Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk HS and was a loyal employee of CSX Transportation and its predecessor, Conrail for 38 years.  He will always be remembered for his loving nature, his kindness and patient manner. Reno never turned away from an opportunity to help his neighbors, family and friends. Renoís greatest joy in life was spending time in the home he loved and shared with his wife.  Nobody could have received greater love and care than Reno received form his wife, Sue, throughout his illness.

     A special thanks is extended to the staffs of the Hospice Inn and the 4th Floor of St. Peterís Hospital where he received such loving care in his final days.
