RAVENA – Francis S. “Frank” Rosato, 88, entered eternal life
Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at his residence. Frank was an Army
Veteran serving during WWII. He retired in 1982 after 42 years of
service with the former NY Central Railroad and Conrail in Selkirk.
His hobby was model trains and his motto was “ if it could be built,
I can build it”.
Survivors include his wife, Erma Rosato; son Christopher Rosato;
brother Angelo Rosato, Jr.; grandchildren, Michael Margiasso, Mary
Lou Delamora, Eliza Burke and Ashley Rosato; and 2
great-grandchildren, Melissa Delamora and Cayden Burke. Frank was
predeceased by his daughter Dianne Donnelly, brother Nicholas Rosato,
and sisters Mary Giammattei and Virginia Perrine.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, November 4th at the
Babcock Funeral Home, Ravena. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s
Cemetery, Coeymans. Friends may call at the funeral home prior to
the service on Thursday starting at 9 AM.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Ravena Rescue
Squad or Community Hospice of Albany.
