Linda Talbott Civill went to be with her Lord on March 3, 2014 after
a battle with lung cancer, she was 71. Born, August 19, 1942 to
Geraldine Moore Talbott and Victor Hampton Talbott in Olean, NY.
She was a beloved wife, loving mother, Gram and sister. She is
survived by her husband John Clark Civill, married August 15, 1964
in Fillmore, N.Y. and four children, Patrick (Jodi) Civill,
Stephanie (Richard, Jr.) Peterson, Stacy (Christopher) Seefeldt and
Thomas Civill. She had seven grandchildren, Justin, Zachary,
Alexandra, Madeline, Winnie, Caleb and Jacob and numerous nieces and
nephews. She is survived by her brother, Stephen R. Talbott of

Linda was a graduate of S.U.N.Y. at Albany in 1965 with a Bachelor
of Arts in Latin. She taught GED courses at C.H.O.I.C.E.S. in Ravena
for many years and worked at Matchless Stove and Chimney in
Glenmont. She volunteered at Helping Harvest at Abounding Love
Christian Fellowship, the Capital City Rescue Mission and the

instrumental member in the women’s group and church leadership.
A memorial service will be held at Grace Covenant Church, 14462
