COXSACKIE – Rosemary T. MacDonald, 70, beloved wife of the late
Randolph R. MacDonald, entered into eternal peace at home in the
care and comfort of her son by her side. She was born on February
2, 1946 in Albany to the late Conrad and Marie Kubisch.
Rose worked as a cake decorator at Price Chopper for many
years. She and her husband were avid boaters and were life member
of the Coxsackie Yacht Club. She enjoyed nothing better than
sparring with her son about the Patriots vs. the Cowboys and she
usually won. Rose was a very loving and generous wife and mother
and nothing gave her greater pleasure and joy than spending time
with her son and family.
Rose is survived by her son, Randolph R. MacDonald, Jr.
(Mary); her brother, William Kubisch; sister, Joann Murray;
granddaughters, Ashley Baziak (Steve), Danielle Harmon; grandsons,
Joshua and Brandon MacDonald; great-grandson, Bryce Baziak; and
several nieces, nephews, cousins and sisters-in-law. Rose was
predeceased by her daughter Tina M. Camacho, siblings Frances
Mergendahl, Conrad M. Kubisch and Peter Kubisch.
Calling hours will be at the Babcock Funeral Home, Ravena on
Tuesday, February 23, 2016 from 3 to 5 PM with a memorial service at
5PM. In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Rose may be made
