– After waging a heroic battle against cancer, Dale Paul Patterson,
passed into the arms of Jesus on Friday, December 7. He was 52.
Dale was born August 16, 1966 in Fallon, NV. He grew up in Catskill
and Coeymans Hollow, NY. After graduating from R-C-S High School he
attended SUNY Binghamton.
While working 30 + years in retail management, Dale lived in several
northeast states, Arizona and Oklahoma.
Dale was an avid outdoorsman and hunter. One of the first things he
did whenever work required moving to a new state was to research
local regulations and obtain all the necessary permits and licenses.
Highlights of his final months were going to the Adirondacks to his
nephew Frank’s hunting camp “Camp Savage” and bow hunting with
neighbor David. Despite his condition, Dale managed a trip in
October to say good bye to his friends in Oklahoma.
While attending a True North base camp in Oklahoma, Dale was reborn
on May 5, 2017 and spent his final time on earth witnessing to his

Pescheta; sisters, Melissa Turek and Tina Patterson; nieces, Ashlee
Turek and Kelsey (Frank) McDonagh; great-nephew, Mr. Chase Michael
McDonagh; his canine companion, Sedona; and aunts, uncles, cousins
and many true friends.
A memorial service for Dale will be held 2 P.M. on Saturday,
December 15, 2018 at the Babcock Funeral Home, Ravena. Friends may
call at the funeral home on Saturday prior to the service starting
