FLORIDA – Julian D. Rinsler, 41, passed away on August 12, 2011 in Boynton Beach Florida. Born in the Bronx NY, he was the son of Dr. Stephen Rinsler of Asheville, NC, Michele N. Keleher of Slingerlands, NY and the step-child of Donna Rinsler and William Keleher Sr.

Upon graduation from high school, Julian relocated to Florida to continue his education and ultimately was awarded a Bachelor's degree in Psychobiology and a Master's degree in Biomedicine, both from Florida Atlantic University. After completing his education, Julian entered the field of medical diagnostics, developing and marketing diagnostic testing programs for physicians in office practice. Just prior to his death, he was working with a number of collaborators in developing a company to facilitate and support patient access to world class medical treatment around the globe (“medical tourism”).

Julian always saw the positive in everyone, truly loved his friends and stayed in touch with family young and old. One cousin described him as the “wild trouper” at every family event, making sure all had a good time. His verve, lust and passion for life make this loss intolerable. His self confidence and free spirit brought out the best in us all while asking nothing in return. He was a kind and good soul.

Julian is survived by his parents Michele Keleher (William) and Dr. Stephen Rinsler (Donna). Siblings surviving are a brother Gregory Rinsler, and sisters Danielle Heron (Patrick) and Nicole Derosier. Step siblings include William Keleher Jr. (Hope), Michael Keleher (Natalie), Katherine Van Vlack (Mark) Kimberly Segal (Larry) and J Ed Kirk (Shannon). Also survived by maternal uncle Michael Axman (Ada ), paternal aunt Sara Zalkin (Donald) and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Julian's life will be held for friends and family on Sunday September 4, 2011 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the home of Michele and William Keleher Sr., 13 Southwood Drive, Slingerlands, NY.
