BALTIMORE – Esther Sebert passed away peacefully on June 30, 2015
with her family by her side. She was born in Cornwallville, NY on
November 29, 1923 to Melvin and Ethel Spencer who predeceased her.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Frederick W. Sebert;
daughters, Lynn (Ron) Taylor, Stella (Stephen) Matson, Sandra
(Regis) Benjamin and sons Spencer and Steven (Kim) Sebert. Esther
was also blessed with ten grandchildren, Thomas Peluso, Anna Cooper,
Jeffrey Matson, Sara Griffin, Michael, Christopher, and Megan
Benjamin, Stacey Sebert, Allysa Seaburg and Lauren Lehmann. She also
enjoyed her six great grandchildren. Esther had one beloved sister,
Emma Hull, who predeceased her.
Born into a farming family, Esther loved her flower
gardens and enjoyed many happy hours working in them. She also
enjoyed baking (especially bread and rolls), reading, doing
crossword puzzles and helping others, but most of all she enjoyed
spending time with her family and friends.
The family will hold a private Memorial Service.
Funeral arrangements were made under the direction of the
Babcock Funeral Home, Ravena.
