HANNACROIX – Alicia Marie Selkirk, of Hannacroix, NY left this world for her heavenly home on Friday, July 17, 2015.  She leaves behind her parents, Jim and Colleen Selkirk of Hannacroix;  her loving sisters Katherine of Troy and Amy of Hannacroix;  grandparents, Ron and Judy Selkirk of Selkirk and Larry and Barbara White of Ballston Lake;  and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Alicia was special in every way.  She was loved by everyone whose life she touched.  She loved McDonalds, Coca Cola and coffee.  She especially enjoyed going to amusement parks and riding all of the roller coasters, no matter how high or fast they went.

Her family is very grateful for all of the support they have received from family and friends.  They are especially grateful for the team in the ICU of Kingston City Hospital, as well as the members of the team for the Center for Donation and Transplant who helped ensure that her last hours on this earth were filled with kindness, compassion and dignity.

Friends are invited to call at the First Reformed Church of Bethlehem, 38 Church Road, Selkirk, NY 12158 from 11 to 12 noon on Saturday, July 25, 2015.  A memorial service will be at 12 noon on Saturday following the calling hour.

The family request that instead of flowers, donations be made in Alicia’s honor to Springbrook NY in Oneonta where she lived for many years.  Donations may be made online at springbrookny.org or mailed to Springbrook NY, 105 Campus Dr., Oneonta, NY 13820.
